Summary
Before joining SHINE FIT, Brandy (she/her) had no relationship with fitness and didn’t see herself as a “fit person.” She was six months into her divorce, feeling lost after a toxic long-term relationship, and disconnected from her identity.
What started as the occasional drop-in class turned into something much bigger when she joined our 6-Week Challenge. Since then, she’s rediscovered her spark, built confidence, and now works out consistently 3–4 times a week—not because she has to, but because she wants to.
Before SHINE FIT: Rebuilding After Divorce
When Brandy found SHINE FIT, she was six months into her divorce—and felt completely lost.
❌ She had no relationship with fitness
❌ She felt like working out was a punishment
❌ She didn’t know who she was anymore after a toxic long-term relationship
She didn’t see herself as a “fit person.” In fact, she used to tell people she hated working out. But something inside her said it was time for change.
The Turning Point: A Drop-In Class That Opened a New Door
Brandy started with one drop-in class a week but:
💙 The energy was different
💙 It didn’t feel like punishment
💙 It felt like something for her, not something she had to do
After a few months, she took the leap and joined the 6-Week Challenge—and everything shifted.
The Transformation: Regaining her Spark
Now, Brandy moves with purpose. She works out 3–4 times a week, and she does it for herself.
✔️ She doesn’t miss workouts
✔️ She prioritizes her physical and emotional health
✔️ She feels strong, confident, and like herself again
“SHINE helped me get my confidence and my spark back. I didn’t just find a workout—I found me.”
Advice for Someone Hesitant to Start
Brandy gets it. Starting is scary. But her advice?
“Just make that first step. Every decision you make for yourself gets you that much closer to your goals.”
You don’t have to be confident to start. You just have to be willing.
